Coronavirus (COVID-19) Temporary Park Closure

A message from the Brookshaw family…

Today, with very heavy hearts, the Brookshaw family has taken the incredibly difficult decision to temporarily close Plassey Holiday Park to all arrivals for our Touring, Seasonal, Holiday Homes, Lodges and Safari Tents.

Although we have not been ordered to close, we are taking Government advice to try and reduce non-essential travel “….by following the latest advice, you will protect yourself, protect the most vulnerable and help to reduce the pressure on NHS Wales and minimise the impact of the virus on local communities….”

Together with many thousands of businesses across the UK, we will face the issues of payments on our bills. The financial burden will be huge. However, this is absolutely the right decision, and we WILL get through this. We just need to be careful and stick together as a team.

Our ability to come through this, won’t just be down to what government or business can do, but by the individual acts of kindness we show one another. Therefore we are asking all our customers to defer holidays to later in the year, move to 2021 or hold balances as credits for when the time is right.

We know that many of you will have questions and please be patient as we will respond to each and every one of you as soon as we can. You are all very valued and important to us. For a time, we won’t be able to answer phone calls, but instead please email us at and we will get back to you in the order we receive.

We would like to thank you for your co-operation and patience at this uncertain time and hope you understand why we have taken this unprecedented action. Having seen the utter devastation this disease has caused in other countries, it is time for us all to stand together and try to get back to normality as soon as possible.

We really appreciate your support, and look forward to re-opening in sunnier times ahead.

Stay safe and well,

John, Sarah, Tony & Della Brookshaw
