Yes, it is essential as we tend to become fully booked during our peak season. If you are taking a last minute trip, please just contact us and we can book a pitch, subject to availability.
Online Bookings – just simply click on the Online Bookings button, follow the instructions by checking dates and availability, click, pay and your booking is done.
Telephone Bookings – call us on 01978 780 277 – If we are unable to answer your call please leave a message on the answerphone and we will call you back.
We allow up to a maximum of 5 people per pitch, with one unit (caravan/motorhome/ tent) per pitch. We do not allow more than one family to ‘share’ a pitch.
6.00pm is the latest time to arrival for midweek (Sunday to Thursday) and is extended up to 8.00pm on Friday & Saturday. Please let our staff know if you are arriving late as they will be patiently waiting for your arrival.
Yes – at busy times (all Bank Holiday periods, July & August), all arrivals must be after 2.00pm and departures before 12.00 noon. For other periods of stay we are much more flexible – please ask the Park staff for details.

Yes, all are large hardstanding and are shown in our Park Map. To select a pitch of your choice, simply select the pitch on the Online Bookings map, or alternatively book by telephone.
We accept up to a maximum of 3 families in a group booking, but we remind them of our quiet policy after 11 pm which is enforced (see Park Rules).
Yes, during our very busy periods we have the following minimum night stays which are stated when you book online.

We have ten luxury lodges that can house six people which you can view at plasseylodges.com. In the new year, we hope to open our safari tents and tower apartments which will also be available to enjoy for your holiday.
A standard 20-metre caravan electric cable (with 16amp BS4343 round pin connectors), 4 metres of wastewater pipe and 4 metres of ½ inch water pipe to connect to a tap (Hozelock fittings to screw onto the ½ inch water tap). For the Digital TV / Satellite connections, a TV Coax cable of approx. 6 metres would usually be enough, though it does depend on the location of your TV Coax point on the caravan / Motorhome. Please note that TV Coax cables are available for hire from Reception at 50p per night charge and £20 refundable deposit.
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome. The charge is £3.10 per night per dog, and we have provided a large dog exercise area for them (see Park Map). Elsewhere, dogs must be on a short lead at all times due to farm livestock in the surrounding fields, and any accidents need to be cleaned up quickly (dog bins sited around Park). Please also note that pets must never be left unattended.
We are a family friendly site and both our restaurants provide children’s menus.
No. Due to Health & Safety issues, we do not permit them on the Park. However we do allow foam footballs, scooters & bicycles, and there are plenty of other activities for children including an indoor heated Swimming Pool, Welsh Castle Adventure Playground, Table Tennis, Badminton, Pool Tables, Arcade Machines, Nature Trail Walks, Golf, Fishing, Cricket / Tennis / Baseball (all played with 100% foam sponge balls).
The heated indoor pool is open all season and is free of charge to all customers staying in the park. The opening is 9.00 am – 4.00pm (5.00 pm peak season & Saturdays), during low season please ask the wardens to open the pool for you. As our pool does not have a lifeguard, we ask for no lone swimming and children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.
Our ponds are only for the customers staying at The Plassey, we have free of charge 5 Coarse fishing ponds. They are located approx. a 10-minute walk from the caravan park (see Map), and are stocked with a mixture of Carp, Tench, Roach and Perch. Please note that anyone wanting to fish must have a current valid fishing licence, which can be purchased from most Post Offices or online.
Sorry, you will need to bring your own fishing tackle & bait.
We have a state-of-the-art CCTV system that covers The Plassey, recording 24/7, and security barrier that is operational between 10.00pm and 8.00am on the caravan park. Wardens can be contacted 24hrs a day, and we are here to assist & provide the high level of service for all our customers.
We have a wide range of food outlets at The Plassey Holiday Park: from “edible elegance” in the unique and newly refurbished Shippon Restaurant to a full range of breakfast, lunches & bar meals in the Haybank Clubhouse. For more details, please follow the links to pages for each establishment.
We do have a storage compound and from time to time have spaces – for details & prices then please call us on 01978 780 277. The storage compound is built with high-security perimeter fencing, and key access is via staff during usual hours of 8.00am until 8.00pm.
Your family & friends can use the Holiday Home to enjoy all the benefits associated with ownership at “The Pines” (this is the name of the exclusive Holiday Home area at The Plassey). In addition, you will be able to use the Swimming Pool for exclusive use at special designated times.
First-time purchasers of a new holiday home are given a Licence Agreement which runs for not less than a guaranteed 12 years (10 years on a Front Plot), up to a maximum of 15 years from the date of first purchase. Where a used holiday home is purchased a Licence Agreement will be offered but with the term left from date of original first purchase.
We open for nearly 11 months a year – from 8th February to 4th January. Outside of this period, you are not permitted to use or stay overnight in your holiday home. We will ask you to provide a named copy of your most recent council tax bill confirming your permanent residential address in the mainland UK – usage of the holiday home as the main residence is not permitted.
In order to keep The Pines as an exclusive holiday homeowners-only park, subletting or renting is not permitted. However, your friends and your family are of course permitted to use the home at any time.
Yes, they are. We have a specific Dog Exercise area near to The Pines where they are permitted off-lead, plus with over 3 miles of Nature Trails over The Plassey parkland (on-lead along this area due to farm livestock).
All onsite food & drink establishments are family friendly. There is also family entertainment held at Haybank Clubhouse.
Dogs are allowed within our Outdoor Seating Area including the undercover Outdoor Patio area.
Yes. Customers are welcome to enjoy a drink from the bar or a hot drink without having to order a meal.
Yes, Haybank Clubhouse is extremely family friendly and is open to both members & non-members, 7 days a week, 8 am until late for both food & drink.
Our bespoke independent businesses strive to be open 7 days a week from 10.30am until 5.00pm. As each independent is run separately, hours do differ and some shops are closed on a Monday. See our directory for details.
Yes, and we also have ample car parking situated close to the shops, so it’s easy to visit and browse.
Yes. Most* of the area is suitable, and we also have a toilet specifically for disabled / wheelchair users.
*Please note some access for the Craft & Retail units is slightly restricted due to the nature of the converted Edwardian buildings.

We welcome coaches but please call us on 01978 780 277 to inform us of your intended date of arrival. If visitors by coach are likely to use e.g. the Restaurant, the coach driver will need to pre-book with the particular establishment (see Directory page).

Unlike some clubs, you do NOT require a golf handicap to play at Plassey Golf Club and we actually encourage new beginners to the game of golf by offering lessons by our Golf Coach if required.
If you wish you can book a Tee Time beforehand by calling 01978 780020 but in general this is not necessary. However please be aware that club competitions do take place on most Saturday mornings and sometimes Sunday mornings so we suggest calling the clubhouse on 01978 780020 if you are planning to visit us at the weekend. Please take a look at our website and click ‘Fixtures and Competitions’ for more details.
Our clubhouse is open to non-members and we cater for golfers and non-golfers alike including families who find the environment very friendly and relaxing. We offer a fine selection of food and drinks from cooked breakfasts and snacks to full 3-course meals. All food is freshly prepared and cooked and competitively priced.
Visitors can hire clubs and balls for Academy Short Course but you will need to bring your own clubs for our main course. In addition trolley and buggy hire is also available.
A dress code does apply on the main course, we ask that tailored trousers or shorts and a collared shirt, no football/sports tops and sorry no blue denim jeans. Also for safety reasons we ask for golf shoes to also be worn on the main course. No dress code is required on the Academy Short Course, Driving Range or in the clubhouse.

All Plassey Golf Members and Holiday Park guests have use of our practice nets and putting green, plus an 8-bay driving range. In addition, we also have an Academy Short Course which is open between April and October and is ideal for beginners or those wishing to improve their short game.
Junior golfers over the age of 8 years are welcome on the main course with adult supervision if they are of a good standard to play 9 holes. Plassey Golf Club operates a Child Protection policy and this policy is displayed on the clubhouse notice board. There is no age restriction on the Academy Short Course as long as they are supervised by an adult/parent.
